From birth, puppies regulate their nervous system by the rhythm of their mother's heartbeat. The Heartbeat Comfort Plush Toy replicates this familiar pulse — giving your dog a powerful, instinctive comfort cue. The gentle rhythmic vibration signals safety and calm, reducing whimpering, restlessness, and anxiety — especially during the first nights in a new home.
Activate the heartbeat mechanism before placing the toy in your dog's bed or crate. Introduce it during calm moments so your dog associates it with comfort. For best results, place it close to where your dog sleeps. Replace batteries as needed to maintain the heartbeat rhythm. Hand wash the outer fleece cover only — do not submerge the heartbeat unit.
Free shipping on orders over $60. Standard delivery: 7 business days. 7-Day Risk-Free Trial if your dog doesn't love it, neither do we. Contact us at dozeandpaws@gmail.com for any queries.
Surface clean or hand wash the fleece cover only. Do not machine wash or submerge the heartbeat unit. Keep battery compartment secure and out of reach of children. Supervise use with very young puppies. Replace batteries when the heartbeat rhythm slows or stops. Inspect regularly for wear — discontinue use if any parts become loose.

Frequently Asked Questions
The heartbeat module runs on 2x AAA batteries and lasts approximately 2 weeks of nightly use (8 hours per night). It has an auto-shutoff timer to conserve battery.
The outer plush is made from durable, non-toxic fleece. While it's not designed as a chew toy, it's built to withstand gentle mouthing. For heavy chewers, we recommend supervised use during sleep and rest periods only — and inspect regularly for wear.
The plush is approximately 30cm — the ideal size for puppies and small-to-medium dogs to cuddle against. Large dogs respond well to it too.
Subtle and rhythmic — designed to be felt as much as heard. The volume mimics a real resting heartbeat and is not intrusive to human ears.
No — always remove the electronic heartbeat module before washing. The plush body is machine washable at 30°C. The module wipes clean with a damp cloth.
