The Cozy Lounger Bed comes in four sizes — Small (52x35cm), Medium (54x44cm), Large (69x54cm), and Extra Large (79x69cm) — making it suitable for breeds from Dachshunds and French Bulldogs all the way up to Labradors and Golden Retrievers. The inner cushion cover is fully removable and machine washable at 30°C. The outer structure can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth or hand washed. We recommend washing the cushion cover every 2–3 weeks to keep your dog's sanctuary fresh and hygienic.
Absolutely — the base is designed to accommodate an additional blanket or cushion for extra warmth. Many owners add a thin fleece blanket in winter. Just ensure the added layer doesn't block the entrance or reduce airflow.
The hood is a fixed part of the structure — it's what creates the enclosed den effect that dogs instinctively love. If your dog prefers an open bed, we'd recommend our Calming Donut Bed instead. Most dogs adapt to the hooded design within 24–48 hours.
Place a treat or favourite toy just inside the entrance. Add a worn item of your clothing for familiar scent — this helps your dog associate the bed with safety and comfort. Let them explore at their own pace and never force them inside. Most dogs adopt the lounger naturally within 24 hours.
